The Mamata Yoga Story
Mamata Yoga was created in 2011 after Program Director Clare Newman discovered she was pregnant with her second child and decided to create a comprehensive yoga teacher training program to help create a solid unification of current yoga instructors and professionals who are interested in assisting mothers, beings and parents throughout their postpartum recovery. Mamata Yoga has been a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance since 2011.
Hi Friends,
I'm your mentor and friend for this unique Online Postnatal Yoga Training. I've been teaching new mothers and beings in Postnatal health and recovery for over 18 years and there is something magical when we share yoga and movement practices with our wee ones.
Postnatal yoga classes are immensely important for perinatal mental health as these classes aren't just rich with movement and breathing practices to help with new body. As a collective, we are building a non-judgemental, inclusive and compassionate space for other mothers and beings to support one another.
Whether you're interested in teaching Baby & Me Yoga classes or Postnatal yoga classes for parents, this training will provide you will the knowledge and education to support all your postpartum mothers and parents.
